Overview of the present situation of packaging film
Packaging film is a very important soft packaging material, which is widely used. The packaging film is colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and has high tensile strength, impact strength, rigidity, strong toughness and good transparency. The surface of packaging film is low, corona treatment is necessary before coating or printing. However, the packaging film, after corona treatment, has good printing adaptability and can be used as a surface material for composite film. Packaging film is also insufficient, such as easy accumulation of static electricity, no heat sealing. In the high-speed production line, BOPP membrane is prone to static electricity, so electrostatic eliminator should be installed. In order to obtain the hot sealing packaging film, the hot sealing resin liquid can be coated on the surface of the packaging film after corona treatment, such as PVDC latex, EVA latex and so on. It can also be coated with solvent glue, and can also be used to produce hot sealing packaging film by extrusion coating or co extrusion. The film is widely used in bread, clothing, footwear and other packaging, as well as cigarette and book cover packaging. The initiation and tearing strength of the packaging film increases after stretching, but the secondary tear strength is very low. Therefore, there is no incision at the ends of the packaging film, otherwise the packaging film is easily tearing when it is printed and composite. The packaging film can produce sealed tape after coating adhesive, which is a large BOPP market.
The packaging film can be produced by tube membrane method or flat film method. The packaging film obtained by different processing methods has different properties. The film produced by flat film method has a higher tensile ratio (up to 8-10), so the strength is higher than that of the tube membrane method, and the uniformity of the film thickness is better.
In order to get better comprehensive performance, multilayer composite method is usually used during production. BOPP can be combined with many different materials to meet the special application needs. For example, BOPP can be combined with LDPE (CPP), PE, PT, PO, PVA to get high gas resistance, dampness, transparency, high temperature, low temperature, cooking and oil resistance. Different composite membranes can be used in the packaging of oily food, virgin food, dry food, impregnated food, all kinds of cooked cooked food, monosodium glutamate, pancake, rice cake and so on.
